Chinese Language and Literature

The Chinese Department provides various courses that focus on the language, literature, and the culture of China. The Chinese department aims to produce specialists who have a deep understanding of China. The course helps to prepare students by developing fluent communication skills in Chinese, high level of comprehension skills, listening ability and deeper comprehension of Chinese literature.

Since its establishment in 1955, the Department of Chinese Language and Literature has made remarkable contributions in the fields of Chinese literature and linguistics.

Our department is focusing on the following educational goals:

- Cultivation of major knowledge: Cultivate Chinese language experts through knowledge of language fields such as basic Chinese conversation, high-level interpretation of sentences, and listening skills. - Cultivating China experts: Not only teach Chinese literature and linguistics, but also impact knowledge on China's economy, politics, and society to cultivate china experts. - Cultivating Chinese cultural knowledge: Cultivate knowledge in Chinese culture through teaching Chinese history, philosophy, and literature.
