Electronic and Electrical Engineering

Our Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering offers diverse major tracks centered on electronics and electrical engineering, built upon a solid foundation in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. These tracks include AI Convergence Systems, which combines electronics and electrical engineering with software; AI Semiconductors, which combines semiconductor devices, circuits, and systems; and Future E-Mobility, which combines mobility. Accordingly, we are implementing education in the latest cutting-edge technologies by strengthening IoT and AI system technologies.

In the lower grades, the focus is on foundational subjects such as mathematics, engineering, circuit analysis, electronics, and computer systems, while in the upper grades, students can select advanced major courses. Advanced major courses are taught by competent faculty and emphasize hands-on experiments utilizing state-of-the-art research equipment.

The undergraduate curriculum is structured to enable students to acquire diverse specialized knowledge in the field of electronics and electrical engineering. Accredited by the ABEEK (Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea), it aims to help students demonstrate their capabilities across various sectors of the field. Students are required to submit a project model design or a research paper for graduation, and to facilitate this, a variety of engineering design courses are provided.

Our department operates various research programs with a faculty possessing extensive practical experience in the industry. Furthermore, we provide students with opportunities for international exchange through collaborations with renowned universities both at home and abroad, such as the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Science and Technology of Hong Kong, and Nanyang Technological University.

Our School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is pursuing continuous growth in world-class education and research, providing students with the opportunity to develop into talented individuals equipped with both expertise and creativity. We invite you to join us on this journey to prepare for the future and change the world.
